faargo is a workshop of wooden ideas.
An independent carpentry where every project takes shape through dialogue, materials, and precision.
BEHIND THE PROJECT
We believe that a carpentry workshop can also be a place of research.
Faargo was born from Giovanni Toniato's vision and took shape from his long experience in craftsmanship and custom-made production. It is a project that originated within Eurofinestra, but was designed to go further: dedicated to those looking for something that does not yet exist.
Faargo is not a division: it is an independent idea that comes from within to look outside. Here, every project is an opportunity to experiment, dialogue, and build with those who share the same vision.

ORIGIN
Faargo is an experimental workshop dedicated to wood.
It was created within the Eurofinestra carpentry workshop with the aim of exploring the design potential of this material, opening up forms, techniques, and uses that go beyond window frames.
Driven by a technical approach and a strong sensitivity for materials, Faargo aims to redefine the role of wood in contemporary design: not only as a structural or decorative element, but as a true activator of languages, relationships, and systems.
Through continuous dialogue with designers, architects, and planners, Faargo offers itself as a place for discussion, where experimentation is at the service of real objects.

METHOD
Wood is a living material. It reacts to its environment, changes over time, and requires knowledge, patience, and precision.
Working with wood means first and foremost understanding its behavior, anticipating its movements, and respecting its limitations. That's why every project begins with a discussion with the person who conceived it, to evaluate objectives, constraints, and possibilities together.
At Faargo, we do not apply a standard method: we adapt the process to each request, with the same attention to detail, functionality, and durability.
